2008 Sarasota Slam Billfish Division

The participants had a long ride rough weather, but made a really good showing at the weigh in.

Here are the photos of the Billfish Division boats and anglers.

The weather was really rough early in the day

Plenty of lightning, but soon enough it blew through and left us with a sunny and breezy day for the weigh in, but it was a tough day for the Inshore/Offshore Division. The Billfish Division fished a day in advance of the weather.

On an even lighter note one of the teams had a video of a billfish release that was challenged by another team. The fish was not identifiable, after careful review by officials the fish was identified positively and the team won first place. And the contesting team captain was dunked!

This is where 100lb Yellowfin Tuna go when they die! They're cleaning it!
