This is the first installment of pictures from the 2008 Sarasota Slam Weigh-in. The rest of the pictures will be up very soon.

But for those of you reading this let me explain how our website works. I am an avid offshore and inshore fisherman and I became frustrated with the lack of a real fishing picture and video database that I or anyone else could load boating and fishing pictures and video into for everyone to see and that anyone could find and search.

So here is how it works, our members (it's free and we don't sell off info) can upload their fishing and boating pictures directly onto the site, and when you load them, in the tags section of the page you enter your username and the type of fish. That way if you enter a snook picture, then you or anyone else can go to the search area of the site and type in "snook" and your picture comes up. Video is uploaded to us and we put it on the site to maintain a PG rating. That is also why we require a membership, so we can monitor what goes in.
