The last few years we've went to the annual Salmon Derby in Owen Sound. It's a well-sponsored event with prizes and nightly events in the huge tent that also serves as the dining area. Even people who don't fish the derby come and line up to get the salmon dinner that's served by the local groups. Have you been to derbies like this in your area?
