At the Salmon Derby we go to, I don't hear much about the actual fishing, but it's a great chance for my wife's family to visit and get caught up on news, etc.
The meal itself is good, but it always surprises me how many people line up for a baked potato and some breaded deep-fried salmon.
One year I saw Steven Harper there before he became Prime Minister of Canada. |
