generator when on the hook

I am eyeing the Honda Eu2000i for my Wellcraft Coastal boat and would plan to put some custom-made aluminum setting for my Wellcraft. I also need to buy at least two carbon monoxide sensors for safety purposes.
What type of small generator do you use for your boat? Do you also use CO detector?
