Deep sea fishing

I haven't dared to go deep sea fishing since being so seasick as a kid but I really want to go out with my father-in-law this summer off Cape Cod. The boat involved is quite large as there will be at least a dozen people on the trip so I'm thinking it will be okay as far as motion goes. What do you think?
