8' Split Bamboo Fly Rod (Oldsmar) $500

Dr. Amos Johnson's beautiful 8 foot, two piece "Orvis Impregnated" "Battenkill" Fly rod with spare tip, aluminum tube and felt sleeve was made on 7/28/54 for Marshall Fields and Co. by Calvin Skinner and George Reid. This rod is registered with Orvis - #16149, was purchased in Chicago and used in rivers and lakes of NC. This fishing antique has been stored in its tube since 1974 and is in perfect condition.
