French Skipper Rescued

The French skipper Jean Le Cam was freed from his capsized yacht by a rival in the Vendée Globe solo around-the-world race. Race officials said Le Cam was healthy and aboard the PRB, the boat of Vincent Riou. Organizers said they expected a Chilean naval vessel to rescue Le Cam on Wednesday, but Riou was the first to reach Le Cam, whose yacht capsized west of Cape Horn early Tuesday.
