For me the other issues are meaningless. Neither one will be able to enact any real change anyway. The only thing that seems to really matter is "who do I want to have to watch on TV, as our country slides off the edge of the plate. I feel that we are in a real mess this time because there is no "Home Equity ATM" to restore consumer confidence and get the economy moving again. You may as well just put anyone in there, because "HOPE AIN"T GONNA PAY YOUR MORTGAGE!". Getting off of my soapbox now!

I wonder if Palin had her fifteen minutes of fame and is finished running, or do you think we'll see "Caribou Barbie" hit the campaign trail again in a few years?

Are you kidding? There have already been rumors of running for Senate or even the presidency. I don't think we've seen the last of Caribou Barbie but with the scandal within her state government and allegations of personal favoritism and petty revenge, I doubt she'll be successful.

It doen't seem to matter who is elected anymore, we just want to minimize the damage they do. Everything that government touches usually gets screwed up. Best thing to do is elect 50%Dems and 50%Reps, then all they can do is fight and not legislate the country to death.

Maybe we should ban the Dems and the Reps and use the Lewis Black Method Blind fold some one and have them throw a dart at a map of the US, then fly an airplane over the area and parachute a dog out of the airplane, and the first person that the dog sniffs after he hits the ground....... IS THE NEW PRESIDENT!
